Introducing the T Dispatch Blog

What’s It All About?

Welcome to the first post in the T Dispatch blog. As a fast-growing software company, there’s always something new going on; new features added, exhibitions and trade shows attended, clients coming on board and good old fashioned progress.

In the year since we launched our product at the Private Hire & Taxi Exhibition in Coventry, our team has grown to over 20. We planted our feet firmly on German soil and opened an office in Berlin. Now we’ve won clients on every inhabited continent, and what’s more, our software just keeps getting better and better! Rather than keep all this lovely information just for me and my dog we thought we’d put some of our internet wizardry to use and start a blog. Just put it all out there. After all, our software is open and so are we.

So Who Are We?

The seed of T Dispatch was planted back in the heady days of 2010, when two of our founders created Tick Tock Taxi – the UK’s first virtual fleet booking site. During talks with partners, they found that many cab companies weren’t happy with their dispatch solution. The big players in the market were charging an arm and a leg (which are both important while driving). Their outdated hardware systems made Teletext look cutting-edge. More affordable solutions were lacking in key features, support and new technology. Making the switch just didn’t make sense.

With these two founders and the vision to change the lives of dispatchers all around the world, the T Dispatch team has grown to over 20 members from over 10 countries. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join the cause – we’ve got big plans for the future.

How Can You Help?

T Dispatch was built from the ground up to be easy to use and fully featured. Though we try to think of everything, we found that listening to feedback leads to the best solution. So feel free to post comments letting us know which new features are working out for you, what you’d like to see or just to say hello. We’re a social bunch (yes, even the developers) and can’t wait to hear from you.
